My career began in 1980 with a Life Insurance Company, as I also started my journey thru college. I took a career break, got married and had 3 children and became a stay-at-home mom, while still working on my college degree. I finished my college career at University of North Texas with a major in Sociology. My job path took me many places after that, including the banking industry, the software industry, and almost a decade with a local Television Station. It all came back full circle 18 years ago, when I became a Licensed Service Assistant for Joanne Madar at New York Life. This job, and our clients have become a family now. I love that my work with Madar Financial has also afforded me a great balance with work and family. My husband of 30 years and I have 7 wonderful grandchildren, 2 adorable rescued mutts, and one very spoiled kitten.
